Gold Price Today on 21st May 2024: A big fall was seen in the prices of gold and silver on Tuesday morning. Domestic gold futures were seen trading in the red. In early trade on MCX exchange, gold for delivery on June 5, 2024 was seen trading down by 0.76 per cent or Rs 564 at Rs 73,803 per 10 grams. At the same time, gold for delivery on August 5, 2024 was seen trading at Rs 74,117 per 10 grams, down by 0.78 percent or Rs 579.
Tremendous fall in silver
Along with gold, domestic futures prices of silver also saw a significant decline on Tuesday morning. On the MCX exchange, silver for delivery on July 5, 2024 was seen trading at Rs 93,139 per kg, down 2.23 per cent or Rs 2128 in early trade. At the same time, silver for delivery on September 5, 2024 was seen trading at Rs 94,788 per kg, down by 2.14 percent or Rs 2076.
Gold in global market
In the global market, on Tuesday morning, gold on Comex was seen trading at $ 2417.20 an ounce, down by 0.87 percent or $ 21.30. At the same time, the spot price of gold was seen trading at $ 2,414.52 an ounce, down by 0.44 percent or $ 10.79.
Global price of silver
In the global market, silver on Comex was seen trading at $ 31.51 an ounce, down by 2.82 percent or $ 0.92. At the same time, the spot price of silver was seen trading at $ 31.39 an ounce, down by 1.37 percent or $ 0.44.
Fall in crude oil prices
There was a decline in crude oil prices on Tuesday morning. Crude oil WTI was seen trading at $ 78.77 per barrel, down 0.67 percent or $ 0.53. At the same time, Brent oil was seen trading at $ 83.17 per barrel with a decline of 0.65 percent or $ 0.54.
