‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ is scheduled to release on May 1. The spectacular trailer of this series was released earlier this month, giving a glimpse of the era when courtesans wielded immense power. In ‘Heeramandi’, Mallika Jaan (played by Manisha Koirala) rules over an elite haveli of courtesans. She makes plans, fears no one, but one day, her enemy’s daughter, Fareedan (played by Sonakshi Sinha), creates tension within her home. This show is inspired by real historical events.

Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar Star Cast

The series stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, and Sanjeeda Shaikh in the roles of courtesans, who journey from controlling nawabs to fighting against English oppression. The series also features Fardeen Khan, Taha Shah Badusha, Shekhar Suman, and Adhyayan Suman portraying nawabs.
