UP Lok Sabha Chunav 2024: Aam Aadmi Party convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who came out of jail after being granted interim bail by the Supreme Court in the excise policy case, will be in Uttar Pradesh today. This will be his first visit to UP after coming out of jail. During this, he will share the stage with Samajwadi Party chief and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav.

In Uttar Pradesh, Aam Aadmi Party is not contesting elections on any seat but it has decided to support the alliance of Samajwadi Party and Indian National Congress under the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance.
Arvind Kejriwal is the second leader from Aam Aadmi Party who will come to Lucknow in the Lok Sabha elections. Earlier, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh had also met Akhilesh Yadav. Recently, during the rally and road show of India Alliance in Kanpur, Kannauj, Sanjay was seen with former Indian National Congress President and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi and SP leader Akhilesh Yadav.
Let us tell you that Aam Aadmi Party had also contested on many seats in the UP assembly elections in the year 2022. Apart from this, the party’s candidates also contested the municipal elections. However, the party did not achieve success as expected.
In UP, Aam Aadmi Party is quite active despite not contesting elections. The aim of the party is to stop the victory march of Bharatiya Janata Party by supporting SP and Congress.
