Swati Maliwal Case
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said in the Swati Maliwal case that he wants a fair investigation and justice in this case. Swati Maliwal’s reaction has come on CM Kejriwal’s statement. Swati said that the CM in whose drawing room I was beaten, finally said that he wants a fair investigation in this matter.
Swati Maliwal said, “As soon as I filed my complaint, an entire army of leaders and volunteers was deployed after me, I was called an agent of BJP, my character was defamed, videos of beatings were leaked, my victim was shamed. Roamed with the accused, allowed him to come back to the crime scene and the evidence was tampered with, took to the streets to fight for the accused, and now the Chief Minister, in whose drawing room I was beaten, is saying that he wants a fair trial in this case. Need investigation. What could be a bigger irony than this? I don’t believe it. Words and actions should be the same.
CM Kejriwal while talking to news agency PTI said that there are two aspects in this matter. He said, “At present the matter is in the court and the comment may affect the proceedings but I am hopeful that there will be a fair investigation and justice should be given.”
Swati Maliwal had accused CM Arvind Kejriwal of assaulting PM Bibhav Kumar. After Swati’s allegations, Delhi Police registered a case and arrested Vibhav. After this, a press conference was held by Aam Aadmi Party in which it was claimed that Swati has been in touch with BJP for some time. All this is being done on his instructions.
