Swati Maliwal Medical Checkup: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Swati Malavil was brought to AIIMS, Delhi for medical examination at 11 pm on Thursday (May 17) in a case of misbehavior and assault. Malavil’s medical checkup took place here till 3 o’clock in the night.
According to news agency ANI, during Swati Maliwal’s medical, a woman officer of Additional DCP rank was also present with her. In fact, Maliwal has alleged that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s former personal assistant Vibhav Kumar had assaulted him at the CM’s residence.
In such a situation, Delhi Police has got Malaveel medically examined so that it can be found out whether there is any injury anywhere. After recording the statement of Maliwal on Thursday regarding the entire matter, the police also registered an FIR against Vibhav Kumar.
FIR registered against Vibhav Kumar
The police have registered a case against Kumar under sections 354 (assault or criminal force to a woman with intent to outrage her modesty), section 506 (criminal intimidation), section 509 (insulting the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Uttering any word or making any gesture with intent to cause offense) and FIR has been registered under section 323 (assault).
After recording his statement with the police, Malavil said that BJP should not do politics on this matter.

Swati Maliwal said on social media platform X, “Whatever happened to me was very bad. I have given my statement to the police on the incident that happened to me. I hope appropriate action will be taken. The last days have been very difficult for me. I thank those who prayed. Those who tried to assassinate my character and said that I was doing this at the behest of the other party, may God keep them happy too.
He further said, “Important elections are going on in the country and Swati Maliwal is not important, the issues of the country are important.” There is a special request to the people of BJP not to do politics on this incident.
