Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z Launched: Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z has now been launched for sale in India, which is priced at Rs 1.85 lakh, which is quite competitive. Bajaj has started accepting bookings for the Pulsar NS400Z for an amount of Rs 5,000 and its deliveries will start from next month. The Pulsar NS400 is cheaper than the Dominar 400 by about Rs 46,000, which is quite significant.

This is the cheapest motorcycle in the current segment of 400 cc bikes which generates power up to 40 bhp. Makes. This is the most powerful version of Pulsar yet. The new Pulsar competes with the Triumph Speed 400, Bajaj Dominar and the upcoming Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450.

Design
The look of the new Pulsar NS400Z is familiar. The front end features a single LED projector headlight, flanked by two lightning bolt-shaped LED DRLs on either side and a small fairing on top. It comes with a 43 mm USD fork in Champagne Gold colour, 320 mm disc brake and 17-inch alloy wheels, whose design is similar to other Pulsar NS models. It has a 230 mm disc brake at the rear. Viewed in side profile, the Pulsar NS400Z sports a muscular fuel tank, with large tank extensions that complement the streetfighter look of the motorcycle. It has a split seat and at the rear the motorcycle has signature Pulsar LED taillights.

Engine
Talking about the engine, Pulsar NS400Z has a 373 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and also has a slip and assist clutch. The motorcycle also has ride-by-wire technology.

Features
In terms of features, this is the most loaded Pulsar yet, with a new full-colour LCD screen along with Bluetooth connectivity. The console gets a bar-type fuel gauge and tachometer along with a gear position indicator, a large display for speed and a small readout for the odometer and trip meter. On the right side of the console is a square-shaped dot-matrix display which is used for turn-by-turn navigation. Controls for music and lap-timer are also provided in the bike.

Hardware
The motorcycle has switchable traction control, ABS and four riding modes – Road, Rain, Sport and Off-Road. The motorcycle has a 110/70-17 tire at the front and a 140/70-R17 tire at the rear. Its seat height is 807 mm and ground clearance is 168 mm. Bajaj Pulsar NS400 will come in four color options, which include Glossy Racing Red, Pewter Grey, Metallic Pearl White and Brooklyn Black.
