Foreign Funding: AAP received funding from many countries including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, ED has already given report to the Home Ministry

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has also been made an accused in the charge sheet by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Delhi Liquor Policy case. The name of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is also included in this charge sheet. Meanwhile, the problems of AAP and CM Arvind Kejriwal seem to be increasing. In fact, ED had told the Home Ministry in August 2022 that Aam Aadmi Party received funding from foreign countries during the year 2014 to 2022 in violation of FCRA, RPA. It is noteworthy that political parties cannot take foreign donations.

Aam Aadmi Party has received funding from Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Oman and many other countries. ED told the Home Ministry that to avoid the restrictions imposed on foreign donations to political parties, the Aam Aadmi Party hid the identity of the donors in its account. This foreign funding came directly into the account opened in IDBI Bank of Aam Aadmi Party.
