HDFC Bank has delighted its customers with an increase in the interest rates on its fixed deposits. These new rates have come into effect today. Under this initiative, customers investing in FDs with HDFC Bank can enjoy fantastic interest rates of up to 7.75 percent.
Increased Rates for Deposits Less Than 2 Crore
Customers of HDFC Bank with fixed deposits less than 2 crores are being presented with the gift of enhanced interest rates. HDFC Bank has raised its FD rates by 0.25 percent or 25 basis points. These new rates came into effect on February 9, 2024, and HDFC Bank has updated this information on its website.

For general investors, fixed deposits ranging from 18 months to 21 months will fetch a maximum interest rate of 7.25 percent. Senior citizens, for the same tenure, will receive an interest of 7.75 percent.
Higher Interest on FDs Ranging from 5 Years 1 Day to 10 Years
Investors opting for fixed deposits ranging from 5 years 1 day to 10 years can avail themselves of interest rates of up to 7 percent for regular investors and 7.75 percent for senior citizens.
Depositors Can Invest in FDs Ranging from 7 Days to 10 Years
According to the bank’s website, depositors can invest money at different interest rates for periods ranging from 7 days to 10 years. HDFC Bank is offering interest rates ranging from 3.5 percent to 7.75 percent on FDs with tenures from 7 days to 10 years. The bank has increased the interest rates by 25 basis points on FDs with tenures less than or equal to 21 months. It has been raised from 7 percent to 7.25 percent for general investors.
