Both started well, and for the initial 7 overs, the team managed to score 64 runs without losing a wicket. However, in the seventh over, Sophie Molineux took three crucial wickets in four balls, dismissing Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, and Alice Capsey. From being at 64 runs without any loss, Delhi found themselves at 64 for 3. Despite Richa Ghosh’s effort, who managed to contribute 12 runs and take 4 wickets in 3.3 overs, Delhi’s batting lineup, besides Lanning and Shafali, failed to perform.

Bangalore started strong. In this low-scoring match, Smriti Mandhana and Sophie Devine formed a vital partnership of 49 runs for the first wicket. Devine played a brisk inning of 32 runs off 27 balls, including 5 fours and a six, while captain Mandhana played a steady knock of 31 runs off 39 balls. Throughout the tournament, Alice Perry showcased remarkable batting skills, and she continued her form in the final as well, scoring 35 runs off 37 balls. Richa Ghosh’s winning shot secured the championship title for RCSB for the first time.
