Bhojpuri film superstar Dinesh Lal Yadav, popularly known as Nirahua, has been given the opportunity to contest from Azamgarh. Nirahua is currently serving as a Member of Parliament from Azamgarh. It’s worth mentioning that in the 2019 elections, Nirahua faced a tough competition from former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, resulting in his defeat. However, in the recent by-elections, he secured his position on this seat by defeating Dharmendra Yadav.
