According to media reports, Nitesh Tiwari has chosen Yash to portray the character of Ravana in his upcoming film ‘Ramayana.’ In this film, Ranbir Kapoor will essay the role of Lord Rama, while South actress Sai Pallavi will be seen as Sita. Some media reports suggest that Yash is ready to be part of this film to make his entry into Bollywood as a villain. If reports are to be believed, Yash is charging a staggering 150 crores to portray the character of Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. With this, Yash has become the highest-paid villain.

It’s worth mentioning that Yash has left many actors behind in terms of fee for portraying a villain. Reportedly, Kamal Haasan charged 25 crores for essaying the role of the antagonist in the 2898 AD adaptation of Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki.’ Before this, Vijay Sethupathi charged 21 crores for his character as a villain in Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Jawaan.’ Saif Ali Khan’s name also appears among the highest-paid villains in Indian cinema, charging 10 crores for ‘Adipurush,’ while Imran Hashmi charged 10 crores for ‘Tiger 3.’ Sanjay Dutt charged around 8-9 crores for ‘KGF 2,’ and Fahad Faasil took 6 crores for ‘Pushpa 2,’ according to reports.
